In addition to the case contained PLC Trainer, Iron Horse Training Equipment also offers a PLC trainer in a Module form. This modulized programmable logic controls training equipment mounts on the same A-frame unit that many of our other industrial trainers use. This is an easy way to incorporate PLC control with our other training equipment such as the Hydraulic Trainer, the Pneumatic Trainer, or the Electro-Hydraulic or Electro-Pneumatic Trainers. The A-frame unit is optional and can be purchased separately.

This PLC training equipment uses 3 modules. One module contains the PLC. The PLC features 6 DC outputs, and 6 inputs. All of the inputs and outputs are dual parallel wired to make adding an external output a simple matter of inserting two wires into the quick connectors. In this way you may use the included pushbutton inputs, or wire your own inputs in the form of sensors, limit switches, or whatever you need to adapt the trainer to your needs. You can also wire-in outputs in the same way. The outputs included with the trainer are pilot lights, but you can easily wire other outputs such as relays or solenoid operated pneumatic directional control valves very easily.
